Bullet drop

How far a round falls, how long it takes to arrive and how much to hold over, with your sight zeroed where you set it.

Approximate. These curves are worked out from each bullet's weight, size, drag and muzzle velocity in the game files, using standard ballistic drag tables. We have not checked them against shots in game yet. Treat them as a guide until we finish our range test.

300 m

Drop against your line of sight

Zero is where your crosshair points. Below the line, aim higher by that much.

Range card

Drop in centimetres, holdover in mils (1 mil is 10 cm at 100 m), flight time and speed. Damage is the gun's damage falloff at that range.

How it is worked out: sight 6.5 cm above the barrel, sea-level air, no wind. The game's drag number reads as a form factor on the standard G7 (rifle) or G1 (pistol) drag table; a few rounds have no drag number in the files and use 1.0. Shotguns, launchers and the bow are left out.
